Enrique J. Martínez, MD

I’ve seen Dr Martinez for about 6 yrs and I have yet to have a bad visit. He gets to the point, but is compassionate and cares about my goals and outcomes. Would highly recommend patients with NASH.

I first saw Dr Martinez in 2002. I don't think I have had a more caring specialist in my life and when you have liver disease, that is almost as important as his expertise. I am very surprised by the bad responses about the office staff. Although there have been a few (in the past, they did NOT last long) office people, and there was a long period between his PA leaving and getting things back to routine, his staff have never been anything but helpful and professional. Dealing with the phone people (not in his office btw) is an entirely different matter.

I really respect him as a Dr. Great bedside manner! That being said, I am looking for a new Dr. because of the unresponsiveness of his PA and staff. Being trying to get an earlier appointment since X- Mass to no avail. Makes me sad because I really like him.

There is not enough I can say about this doctor! He is wonderful...I have severe liver damage and he is the only liver doctor I trust 100%. He cares about his patients and doesn't give up. If you can get

Dr. Martinez is a delight. Knows his liver, caring, very likeable, takes time to listen and truly, truly cares about YOU as a person.However, the office staff will drive you to drinking (and with a bad liver, that is NOT a good idea). Every time I have to deal with any of them, it's ususally a 2 Xanax ordeal!!!!! If I didn't love Dr. Martinez as a Dr. and person, I would NOT go there.

I rate the customer service of the office staff as very poor. If it weren't for the excellence of Dr. Martinez I would not go to this office.
