Dr. Enrique Tadeo Quintero, MD

I saw Dr. Quintero for quite a few years for treatment of my allergies. While I was initially impressed with his practice (and still believe that the group that handles the allergy shots operates like a well-oiled machine), I became frustrated when Dr. Quintero would change me to a new prescription medication each time one of my medications (prescribed by him) became available over the counter. The last time that I saw him, I told him that Allegra-D (recently changed from a prescription medication to an over-the-counter medication) was working fine for me and that I had no complaints about my allergies. He said that he still wanted to try a different medication and see if it worked better for me. The medication that he prescribed was not covered by my insurance, was very expensive, and had to be taken three times each day (versus once daily for the Allegra-D). It seemed to me that he was doing the bidding of the pharmaceutical companies. I have not been back to Dr. Quintero since… that appointment, which was in 2015.

I would not recommend this doctor for anyone. My first time visit. Called for an appt. and after my first greeting with him he informed me that he didn't treat patients over age 70 that his staff made a mistake. He said, since you are here I will treat you. Spent about 3 minutes and never saw him again. What a utter waste of my day. Never have I been so embarrassed. Staff was nice the doctor 0

Knows his field. Great staff to work with. Has helped me tremendously.

Dr. Quintero is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and his office runs like a well oiled machine. He first diagnosed me with migraines due to sinus infections many years ago, after years of going to doctors who said it was due to "depression", "hormones", etc. The allergy shots and testing help tremendously. All of the things I was tested for before, I have been healed of. Now I am undergoing shots for mold (new one), and I fully expect to be healed of that as well! He is great and very trustworthy!

I felt like Dr. Quintero didn't spend enough time with us before quickly recommending a very intense "treatment." We were given skin allergy test on someone whose skin was already compromised, then immediately were told to jump into a 3-5 year shot treatment plan. Could be the correct advice, but hard to respect it when you only see him for a few minutes. I want a Dr who spends a little more one on one time diagnosing and listening to their patients. Overall I'd say middle of the road as far as score from us.

Not worth the wait. Better doctors out there and in the practice with him.
