Dr. Enrique Sta Ana, MD

Second surgery made by the Dr Sta Ana, and great results at the end of the day. I am very pleased by him and his team.

If you're looking for impeccable bed side manner and amazing care after your surgery, Dr. Sta Ana is above and beyond the best physician! He is knowledgable, approachable, patient and kind. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very warm office atmosphere! So thankful for all he's done for me.

Dr Sta Ana is a very good surgeon. He is very up beat and positive, makes you feel better in his presence. He took the time to explain my surgery and answer all my questions and concerns. I had some problems while in the Hospital after surgery and he took care of those problems and explained why and what he did to resolve the problems. He is not the first surgeon I have had so I knew what to expect and he exceeded all those expectations.

First of all that is not him pictured. This guy is Asian. He has very poor bedside mannerism. He is rude, bias and condescending. The nurses hate him at the hospital. He didn't explain my surgery. He had a very pleasant student with him that answered my questions and drew out an explanation. Teach him some manners would you. Its hard to see why anyone would give him more than 2 stars-unless he's here rating himself.

I was in incredible pain post-surgery, and this doctor couldn’t have cared less. The post-surgical paperwork tells you of items of concern that a patient should be aware of, and tells the patient to call their surgeon right away if any of those things occur. He apppeared highly irriatated, condescending, and dismissive when we notified him of my excruciating pain days after surgery (after needing minimal pain medication in the first several days after surgery). He said that he had no additional surgical plan for me, and therefore he basically washed his hands of me. I was left to go to the ER multiple times and be admitted (and spent thousands and thousands of additional dollars), only for the hospital doctors to determine that my bowels were impacted from no bowel activity for 6 days. Seems a surgeon could have considered this matter (or listened when I told him I hadn’t passed has or had a bowel movement) and prescribed some laxatives or stool softeners. But instead, he didn’t want… to be bothered. I was in tears the last time I spoke to him regarding the pain I was experiencing, and he told me that I was causing the pain by getting worked up. 100% backwards logic. Find a better surgeon who actually cares about patients before surgery AND after surgery.

Im not sure why the other authors have written what they have written. My experience with Dr.Staana has been nothing short of perfect. He explained everything to me very clearly and the procedure went without a single hitch. I would recommend him to my family members.

This Dr. is not only arrogant, but he doesn't even bother to explain anything to you. He cuts you off when you ask questions and above all else his bedside manner is terrible. He completely butchered my daughters stomache and shes still in pain years later. She now has to go to another surgeon in another city because no one wants to correct the mess he made.
