I was surprised when at the end of my appointment after the physical exam for a cervical spinal fracture, I had lost feeling in part of my left hand and told the team but just got the response that “thatprobably a C6 problem- I don’t know what would have caused that but you have an appointment with your neurologist next week so you can follow up with him” and hurried out the door. Calling my neurologist, they sent me to the ER for an MRI because they actually were concerned to find out what might have caused it and the loss of motor strength I experienced as well (that this doctor didn’t care to evaluate for, even). I didn’t have this when I went into the office and am still frankly surprised and appalled by the complete lack of concern for an adverse event that occurred in the physician’s own office during their exam.

My husband had a back surgery by this doctor and is no longer able to sit for too long, drive for too long, stand for too long, walk for too long or have sex at all. His surgery has resulted in painful neuropathy. He tried to apply for disability, but this doctor would not admit that my husband had a disability. He also tried to hand his case off to a hip replacement doctor, who has made this case even more difficult and painful. Do not use this doctor.

I absolutely would recommend Dr. Transfelt and his team to anyone without reservation. He and his staff are straightforward, honest and will take whatever steps are necessary to resolve your medical condition appropriately. The team at the Twin City Spine Center saw me very quickly, listened to my symptoms, performed the necessary tests to determine the root cause and had me in surgery in less than a week. Quite possibly changed my life and I can’t thank them bough for listening, caring, advising, providing options and then supporting me through the process. I still have some recovery and healing ahead of me- but want to publicly thank Dr. Transfelt and his entire staff for the care they offered me- absolutely top notch!

Ensor Transfeldt, MD was a gift from God. I had progressive scoliosis and a host of additional spine issues. Ten years later, age 73, I can't twist and bend but have EXCELLENT quality of life. Just came home after 3-1/2 weeks in Europe, planning next overseas trip. Dr Transfeldt is my hero and my husband's hero. Never once did he encourage surgery. It was MY choice. Years later he said I must have caught him on a good day to agree to operate.

His PA has very poor follow up. This clinic needs help. Once your approved for a procedure, all is good. The hospital stay was an experience I wish upon no one.

I'm in far worse shape, pain, can't hardly walk, can't drive, can't work, than I was before surgery. I'm 51, and my future is now bleak. Forget this place.

Dr. Ensor Transfeldt and his Physician's Assistant Mike Ensroth, were the finest, most professional orthopedic team I have encountered for my thoracic back pain issue secondary to a crushing, blunt force injury. They listened carefully and diagnosed my condition correctly. They recommended reasonable conservative treatment. They were compassionate and empathetic. The care I received was to my utmost satisfaction.
