Dr. Equilla V Cherry, MD

My aunt used to visit Peace River Center where my wife currently goes that place is horrendous . My wife currently sees this woman at that location Nurse Practitioner Cherry. My wife has sent in disability papers she needed filled out to return to work due to her Major depressive disorder and the Facility NP Cherry works at and herself have constantly said they didn't receive them even though we have faxed them over several times. NP Cherry that was supposed to be helping with my wife has lied about my wife missing tele visits and her staff is a joke. She has even expressed to my wife when she wanted her medication changed NP Cherry didn’t want to do it. The way NP Cherry has talked to her in sessions made her feel like my wife's fault for feeling this way (symptoms of Major Depression Disorder)and has been very rude to her making her feel as if she was alone and to blame for her mental health. It's a shame people like NP Cherry is in charge of anything especially when it comes to… any form of health whether mental or physical. Equilla cherry is a disgrace to any medical professional and shouldn't be practicing medicine in any form. She has no emotion or empathy towards her patience. She is not helpful and will probably end up being responsible for someone taking their own life( kind of how my wife felt after her Zoom appointment today) How this facility that CHERRY works for can condone having someone like her work for them and be responsible for people's mental health is a joke. That facility and its staff are what's wrong with these places that state they are there to help and empower you. I would not recommend NP Cherry to anyone and end up with NP Cherry as your provider please find another place or provider because NP Cherry will only belittle and blame you.
