Dr. Latzka is dual board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. He manages acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and offers non-operative alternatives to orthopedic surgery. His clinical interests include diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound (same day results without waiting for an MRI), orthobiologic injections such as platelet rich plasma (PRP), and ultrasound guided procedures (such as ultrasound guided carpal tunnel & trigger finger releases, and tenotomy with ultrasound guided using the Tenex device).

Dr. Latzka has published in numerous journals and textbooks, with a particular focus on ultrasound guided carpal tunnel release, ultrasound guided trigger finger release, orthobiologics, sports biomechanics, diagnostic ultrasound, and injuries of the hand & fingers. He has presented posters, research and lectures to national audiences, covering topics such as injuries of wrist, hand, and fingers, rock climbing sports medicine, skiing & snowboarding sports medicine, and various ultrasound guided procedures. Finally, he is an expert in the field of orthobiologics, having served as a clinical expert for the Washington State Health Technology Assessment Program, and as member of both the AAPMR Biologics Curriculum Committee and AAPMR Technical Expert Panel on Biologic Management of Osteoarthritis of the Knee.
