Dr. Eric Douglas Aitken, MD

Very patient cares about you and cares about your health. He is an excellent doctor. I have been seeing him for years. And he takes his time with every patient. If you are needing a new doctor check him out you won’t be disappointed.

Was in a very bad car accident that the doctors didn't think I would survive. Dr.Aitken was my doctor at Community North Rehab(which is also 5 stars plus-amazing) Dr.Aitken is a true professional. His appearance top notch but most importantly his bed side manners are as well. You would have thought he had been my doctor for years. He listens to every word you say. Dr.Aitken turned one of the worst experiences of my life into one where I trusted him and made me believe I was going to be ok... I was.. I am very grateful to Dr.Aitken... one of the best physicians there is.

After experiencing chronic pain from neck and back injuries and surgeries, I was sent to Dr. Aitken with much skepticism. He has been the best thing that has happened to my overall health. He thoroughly went over my condition and implemented a plan to get me active and in as little pain as could be expected. Great attitude, honest, and to the point. I feel my life changed for the better because of him.

Been patient almost 10 year’s and Dr. Aitken has been my doc for 6 years. He is a fantastic doctor, very compassionate, great listener and is always on time!!!! So many wonderful people work there. I feel blessed to have found them

Imagine being dropped, in pain, no hope...and here is your Knight in shining armor. For many years Dr Aitken has been the lifeblood and the catalyst for my quality of life and though I recognize the limitations of my disease he is ever hopeful and helpful. Along with his Nurse I'll call my priceless liaison I'm so well cared for with smiles and the welcome that is unprecedented from other care providers. I'm so happy that Ms Christine had me wait one day for Dr Aitken as he has not only improved my quality of life from that moment of time, but saved my life, and takes his personal time to ensure I'm okay. Thank you'd and reviews will never do justice to Dr Aitken and his right hand but I know in my heart that without them I would not be who I am and look forward to being greater not laying in pity!

Dr. Aitken is a caring doctor who will try his best to help you all the time. He always has a smile in his face and he is supersupportive on your recovery. He makes sure you are having the right care and information. My family came to visit me from abroad and he found time to arrange a meeting with them and his whole team in a couple of days so he could explain in person how I was doing, what their goals were, what my surgery consisted on, what will happen in the near future... And everything in Spanish! In my last visit, I requested to have MRI results from another hospital and his staff brought me a copy of those results in less than half an hour. Of course, he took the time to explain those results to me right away. If you are impatient at his hospital, you´ll know when he´s coming to talk to you every morning, because he is always joking around and making happy every patient and his laugh is heard from the distance. He motivates you and pushes you to recover and to think about a… better future. I really appreciate all of his work.

Dr. Aitken is the most caring and thorough doctor I know. As a vital member of my medical team he ensures that ALL issues are addressed and researched. Though it is impossible to resolve my issues, he has improved my quality of life and works hard to ensure my daily abilities are as tuned as they can be. He fights for what you need and he deeply cares. I only wished there were more doctors of integrity and loyalty as he is. You cannot find a more compassionate caring doctor anywhere, trust me, I am still trying!

Dr. Aitken is a courteous and attentive physician. When I visit him I feel as though he actually cares about me as an individual. He listens and when there is a problem investigates it thoroughly. I recommend this doctor.
