Dr. Eric Allen Arp, MD

He is about a one of a kind doctor. He listens, he cares, he’s never in a hurry, and he gets to the bottom of your issues, then creates a plan. I highly recommend him for all your foot and ankle problems. I walked on a broken ankle for three months. Podiatrist in West Plains said it was just a really bad sprain. He only went by X-rays. I went to Dr Arp and he disagreed after taking his own X-rays. He sent orders for and MRI. My ankle was broken in two places. He fixed me right up!! He is awesome!!

Excellent care

I have lived with pain and limitations with my foot for years. I went to see Dr Arp and on the first visit he told me he could fix my foot. I was so excited. No other doctor had ever said that. We scheduled the surgery and now I'm recovering well and thrilled to know I can now walk without that pain.

I can't give enough thanks to Dr.Arp who fixed what 2 other orthopedic foot and ankle specialist (one of them supposed to be the states best) had not fixed properly through a series of five other surgeries on my left foot. As a nurse, mom, and wife being on my feet continuously. I needed help and did some research and wanted a minimally invasive procedure that is only offered in Arkansas by Dr.Arp who is 2 hours away. I felt it was worth to give minimally invasive a try to help with the pain that was affecting my job and life at home. Scheduled an appt with Dr.Arp and was more than devastated when I was told minimally invasive surgery wasn't an option for me. He reassured me that he could do the reconstructive surgery I needed and was sorry for all I'd been through. He told me that day that he understood cause and effect. He was worried about the long term as well as the short term. He explained things thoroughly and was willing to answer all my many questions - think he might have… missed his lunch that day or had a short one. Dr.Arp has fixed my left foot that I had named Murphy (after Murphys law) that had been a problem since a severe ankle sprain in 2016. Driving 4 hours round trip for appointments and surgery has been well worth the expense and time spent driving. If you have any foot or ankle problems I highly recommend a trip to Dr.Arp!

Dr. Arp is amazing. He used new cutting edge technology to repair the broken bones in my foot. The surgery took only 15 minutes. He used a new artificial bone grafting material and 2 small screws. Recovery time was only 3 weeks. I am now foot loose and fancy free!

Had surgery on my right foot in May. Dr. Arp was amazing through the entire surgical procedure. Loved the Surgical Center - staff was great, recovery was wonderful. This was my third procedure with Dr. Arp, bunions on both feet with cysts. This was a hammertoe correction and dislocated tendon. I was extremely impressed and pleased with every visit throughout the process of initial exam, to procedure, to post-op and follow up visits.
