Terrible Psychiatrist, see's as many patients as he possibly can in a day. You might see 5 or 6 people he squeezes into the same hour as you, more appointments more $. Does not hesitate to put you on several strong medications or add more to your current list, with maybe 5 or 10 min of your time, 5 or 10 minutes to add ANOTHER antipsychotic like it's candy, I kid you not. He's an embarrassment and a clown. Adds extra diagnosis's that you don't show symptoms for and may have never heard of, like in my case, I had to google the thing he talked about. Also, got a second opinion that disagreed. And most of all will OFTEN see pharmaceutical reps in there because they know Dr. Becker prescribes a ton of drugs and it's easy money of them. You will have a laugh when you are in there next and see a pharma rep also waiting for the same doc. Not a good thing. STAY AWAY, PLEASE!

I’m a health care professional who has been a patient of Dr Becker for over a year I highly recommend him - excellent both with regard to psychopharmacology and with regard to interpersonal/interview skills.

For finding appropriate medication and listening. I have been seeing Dr.Becker for a few years. He gets to the point and suggests treatment. There are a ton of reviews on here which are inappropriate and downright crazy. Yes, I said CRAZY. If you are looking for help, this is the office. If you just want to whine and complain, I suggest you form a group. FYI -I needed to reschedule my appointment for next week and found staff professional and helpful. Staff is unprofessional, rude, and does not provide proper information. They tell you one thing and then send letters stating something different.

Left Dr Becker after I continued to get worse and sought treatment elsewhere. Two years later, I have the correct medicine, therapy, and feel way better. He sees you for 10 minutes, books 4 appointments an hour (not kidding) and over medicates and diagnoses every patient. From what I am seeing on her and have heard from others, he diagnoses almost EVERYONE with bipolar disorder and gives them mood stabilizers instantly. His practice is shameful, he should be practicing medicine, on another note you can ask him for essentially any benzo or Xanax you want and he will give it to you. So you can take that for what it's worth. Horrible doctor, tries to maximize his time for money, look for care elsewhere. Should have his license taken away. He is an absolute joke.

This has to be the worst practice around! I could not wait to get an appointment with another doctor and get myself out of there! What a Horrible experience!!! He overmedicates his patients and his staff is very cold and unfriendly.

Dr. Becker is the worst medical professional I have ever seen in my life. His patients are just cash-cows to him. This guy overbooks his appointments, leaves you waiting for at times 30+ minutes, spends only about 5 minutes/10 max with you, and makes you come back for follow-up appointments in an unnecessary short amount of time. The more appointments he has, the more money he makes. The more appointments he makes you come back for even if you're stable on your meds, the more money he makes. And on top of it, if you miss an appointment, you'll be charged $130 out of pocket. He never made me feel like he genuinely cares about his patients and has the personality of a rock. His staff members are not the friendliest either. In addition, within 5 minutes of my very first appointment, the guy brought up a possible diagnosis for a condition I have never been told I showed symptoms for. I spoke with other medical professionals for second opinions and all were in complete disagreement with his… possible diagnosis. I do not recommend him at all.

Dr. Becker and his staff focus more on my money than on my mental health. They are expensive yet they want to see me every three months without fail or delay. If you haven't made an appointment with them within the three months they send you a letter explaining that they will close your file and you will no longer be their patient.

Unprofessional, rude, and completely unsympathetic. Clearly in the field for the money.

Dr. Becker refused to reschedule an appointment I had to cancel the day before For a job interview, and I'm out of work! Is this a doctor who cares about helping people?
