Dr. Eric D. Blacher, MD

I am confident every time I see Dr. Blacher. He has been my trusted doctor for many years now and has guided me through easy and difficult situations. He has excellent referrals and truly knows compassion for his patients. Since seeing him, my mother and partner also became his patients, and I never question any of our care.

I made a same day appointment, arrived 15 minutes early and was seen 10 minutes early. Very personalized care and a nice experience all the way around.

Dr Blacher is a wonderful, skilled Dr. He really worries about his patients and is always there for them. Very knowledgeable and keeps up with all the newest research. I also find him very easy to reach when I need him Just an outstanding professional!!

I could not recommend this office to anyone. The staff and call center are not at all helpful. The actual office is organized as if a child is running the place. You cannot speak directly to the Dr or to his direct staff. You only get the "call center." I had to wait over a month for him or his office to upload my referral to my insurance. 4 calls back and forth to their call center netted me nothing more than promises that the referral had been taken care of. Finally I got a call back from a lady outside of Blacher's staff who listened to my ordeal and went ahead and personally wrote out the referral. Later I discovered the MRI referral was written for the incorrectly (for the wrong area) and now I'm fighting again (as is my specialist) to get the PCP to write a new referral. It has been another 3 weeks and neither I nor my specialist has gotten an answer from them. I cannot make the lady who calls me back each time understand that just because they wrote an MRI referral for one area… doesn't mean that there is not another area that needs to be examined. She says "well you've already had an mri, why do you need another). My specialist's secretaries are currently fighting it out with these people. I was told that this week they had a similar ordeal with my PCP group and she advised me to get the heck out of there. She said she had no confidence whatsoever in this PCP group. Do yourselves a great favor and stay away from this office. Better, yet, Dr Blacher get yourself to a real office before they drag you down with them!

Nice but asking me my sexual history with his door open and patients 5ft away?

Every time I made an appointment, it was a guaranteed wait time of over 45 minutes. He doesn't take my complaints seriously, and totally wasted my time whenever I went in. Starting to think he's biased, refused to see me today when I HAD to see him, made time in MY busy schedule to come in and got stuck in traffic making me 5 minutes late. Then the staff took 10 additional minutes to check me in, but because I was checked in 15 minutes late, he refused to speak with me. What kind of doctor ignores his patient like that? He was behind schedule to begin with, I wasn't any more late than he was on time. My father has been having even more difficulty with him, as we both have the same primary care physician. I'm going to look for another doctor, preferably a DO, one who actually cares about his/her patients well being. He may be a good doctor but I for one don't trust my life in his hands.

Visiting this physician is a pleasure; If you do not have any business to take care of between either the receptionist or the office manager. Non- clinical staff members within this facility are extremely rude, inappropriate, and barely helpful. If you are expecting a call back from the physician, don't hold your breath, It is likely he will never get the message! 3 stars for the physician, as a result of the terrible non-clinical staff.

Dr. Blacher is an excellent doctor. I have been a patient of his for over 2 years now. He is very understanding of problems and does whatever he can to help you. All of my appointments are very quick and I do not have to wait long either.

i came here in 2010 rude staff between office manager and one of the ladies from the front desk...no professionalism at all personal conversations took along time to get medical records. your a small doctors office...they could atleast have their stuff in order!!!

Dr. Blacher is a great doctor, it is his staff that I have a problem with. He is very caring and goes above and beyond to help his patients.
