Eric Borden, MD

After seeing Dr. Eric Borden for at least several years, I finally switched to a better PCP. He has another staff member in the room during appointments that indirectly micromanages what he does. It made me and other patients feel uncomfortable. When certain prescriptions needed to be modified or corrected, he had an unprofessional "attitude" about them. He is not a personable doctor. He often overlooks important details and information of patients. He often tends to be rushed or distracted by the use of his laptop (with or without someone else in the room). I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. E. Borden to anyone looking for a PCP.

Dr. Borden is terrific, but the administrative apparatus is corporate and intrusive. One can no longer have a private conversation with one’s doctor in this practice — there is a stenographer in attendance at all times. Some sociopathic MBA was given a little power and dehumanized the place.

Dr. Borden is a high caliber doctor with many positive attributes. First and foremost, Dr. Borden is an excellent long-term, short-term and very much goal oriented with each patient he sees. It begins with testing and the end results are a superb plan. While calculated and an expert in his field, he is able to relate to and talk with his patients at a laymen level. Dr. Borden's "bedside" manner is real, genuine and heartfelt. As an upstanding member of our community, Dr. Borden is always willing to go the extra mile. I have seen him coach, attend his children's science fairs, concerts, etc.... I have no idea how he does it with all of the demands of being a doctor, husband, father, community member and enthusiast of many things life has to offer. I give him 5 stars+ in all areas. His wife, Dr. Jennifer Borden is my wife's doctor and she too has the same high standards and qualities as Dr. Eric Borden.

Excellent Dr. after mine retired.

Awful experience. I went in for help with back pain. Took 2 weeks to get me in. Took 3 weeks to get an mri scheduled(ended up scheduling myself). suggested PT, advil, etc. Final, a specialist recommends surgery but Dr. borden has a policy not to call patients back. I wanted a second opinion. Really too bad this service exists.

I used to work for Dr. Borden and he was an excellent doctor! I wish he would have stayed in Erie!
