Dr. Eric Steven Bour, MD

I don't know who could ever complain about Dr. Bour. He is the best! Very professional, and personal. He helped me when others were discounting my symptoms. Dr. Bour thoroughly explained everything, made sure I was comfortable with the what and how. My husband scheduled a surgery with Dr. Bour as well. Easy recovery, always available for questions and support. His office was friendly, easy to work with also. I will always hold him in high regard. Dr. Bour sets the standard.

When I had my bypass done, Dr. Bour was the only game in town. $2000 for pre surgery counsulting, A JOKE!! A weigh in, a prep talk from a whatever previous patient he could talk into speaking with the group and a psychologist on board that never seemed to stay in the position long. Insurance did not cover this amount. Everyone had to pay out of pocket. No charge for this from other doctors doing they same procedure, but unfortunately the closest was in Spartanburg. Egotistical demeanor along with his equally egotistical surgical tech, who thinks she is also an MD and talks down to her patients Hour long waits for follow up visits. I wish I had waited just a few months until St. Francis had their program. Will never recommend this facility to anyone.

Dr. Boar is hateful and does not care about patients. He came into my daughters room and announced that he ran this hospital ( Hillcrest ). What a joke!!!!! Who cares about what you, what about the patient? Thank god, for Dr. Eichorn.

This doctor saved my life. He treats you like family and you couldn't ask for a more honest and direct surgeon. He explains the process and follows up. Since his presidency at Simpsonville he is harder to get follow ups but his staff does good follow ups with patients

My grandmother. She almost died 4 times and now has a fistula. He was very rude and we are trying to transfer jer to a better place, but he wont let her. Do not recommend. I thought u could make decisions for yourself!!!!

Dr. Eric Bour is a horrible doctor who does not care about his patients at all! My mom had gastric bypass surgery and is still in the hospital with many life threatening complications 3 months later! He very seldom came in to see her and when he did he was out too quick. Not fully answering our families questions or avoiding them. He didn't seem genuine, or like he even cared. He just wants your money, so BEWARE! If you are going to get a gastric bypass please don't get it from him or anyone in his practice. I am tryig to save your life, because I have seen firsthand my mom suffer terribly and still suffering.

I could have not been happier with my experience with Dr Bour. His staff and the whole group are just 100% professional. I love the change he made in my life.
