Love going there and who loves seeing their Dr.? The staff is so warm an friendly and so is Dr. Buxton. He genuinely cares about his patients. The ladies that run his office are also so upbeat and energetic.

I went to 4 other docs before finding buxton. He was the only doc that knew the wrong blood tests were ordered. He was able to navigate quickly to get me patched up after months of suffering with other deadens docs.

Dr. Buxton is a great specialist who is on the cutting edge of today's medicine. He cares about the whole patient -- not just the numbers on the test results.

Dr. Buxton is AMAZING! I was having trouble getting pregnant and he figured out where my thyroid levels needed to be and within 3 months I conceived my first child. When trying for our 2nd It took me 2 months to conceive. Dr. Buxton has been monitoring my thyroid levels and personally calls me back with my results. I would highly recommend him for anyone with thyroid problems!

Good for diagnosis and starting treatment. Not good with following up after initiating treatment. Seems to be too busy to communicate with patients thoroughly. Wait time (over 1 hour) exceeds actual face to face time (10 minutes).

Hard to coordinate ongoing care when the staff doesn't seem that concerned about follow-up or when it will happen, and it can take more than three working days. This may be a symptom that the doctor indicating he's over-subscirbed or has other priorities.

Responsivity is pathetic - call in needing help and you may not hear back anything for a week or so. Could be a case of the doctor not working very hard...although the office staff isn't all that on the ball either.

Dr. Buxton listens to his patients. He is very inquisitive, and a good detective. He is open to new ideas and medical research. He cares.

Dr. Buxton is brilliant when it comes to thyroid problems. In a very reassuring way he gets right to the problem, lines up a solution and in doing this explains things so that I understand. He has really saved my life several times and i am very grateful and happy to make the trek to San Francisco and pay out of pocket just to have this wonderful doctor in my health care sphere.
