Dr. Eric Michael Canaday, DO

“Dr” Canaday is not qualified to treat patients with chronic conditions. I’m also worried that he can’t read (as a simple look over a patients history would have quickly afforded him the knowledge to properly treat my boyfriend). We have seen him twice recently for my boyfriends chronic and well diagnosed GI condition. He just wanted to believe it was caused by marijuana. If he did a quick google search he would be able to see that these are two very different things. Instead of doing anything for the intense pain that my boyfriend was experiencing he decided he should call my boyfriends PCP on CHRISTMAS instead of reading through his history from his many previous ER. Thank goodness there was a qualified PA in the ER. But thanks to “Dr” Canaday we waited for several hours while my bf was in agony... which seems like a thing any reasonable or knowledgeable doctor wouldn’t allow to go on for so long. He’s truly not equipped to be a doctor, let alone an ER Dr. I feel terrible for the… patients who are forced to deal with him.
