Dr. Eric N Chapa, MD

Dr. Chapa is very courteous, spends time with me and gives me an accurate diagnosis for the past 30 years he's been my doctor. I am well pleased with him. I also would like to mention Helen in the business office and Irma in referrals whom have also been very kind & helpful.

Staff at times can be rude. If you need to see doctor in a day or two, it most likely is impossible.better to go to urgent care.waiting time is about 10-15 minutes. Problems getting prescriptions called into pharmacy sometimes for refills,unless you tell staff you will tell doctor and that will fix the problem.doctor listens and sends you to specialists when needed. I've been a patient for 4 years I only have one complaint with Dr and that is he won't do female exams and he doesn't like to refer out if you're a woman thats had a hysterectomy. He doesn't see the need.otherwise i think he is a good doctor and its hard to find a good doctor in stockton that u dont have to spend hours in waiting room just to see a doctor who doesnt have time to talk.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chapa for 25 years. I like him but his staff leaves a lot to be improved on. Trying to make and appointment is a royal pain. They hardly answer the phone and never call you back. They have a habit of screwing up your prescription when they call them into the pharmacy. I suggest getting in in hand and taking it to your pharmacy of choice.

Many times he uses Nurse Practioners Trainees of Physician Assistant Trainees. Dr. is not vry curius about your condition although nicely mannered.
