Dr. Eric T Czer, DO

My husband, a disabled veteran, saw Dr. Eric Czer for a surgical consult after two other surgeons said his elbow injury (near full-thickness common extensor tendon tear and LUCL tear) was too severe for them to operate on. Dr. Czer made us wait nearly an hour before he even came in, barely glanced at my husband’s MRI, and claimed he only had a small tear. He tried to give him a shot instead and insisted no surgeon would do the surgery with this MRI. He left the room abruptly, offered no real advice or explanations, and acted like we were wasting his time. Another surgeon, using the same MRI, confirmed the injury was so severe that delaying surgery could mean permanent loss of use if the tendon retracts. The new surgeon also performed the needed surgery. Dr. Czer was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. I honestly don’t know if he’s incompetent or treated my husband this way because he’s Hispanic. Either way, I would never trust him with any serious injury. Stay far away.
