Dr. Deal and the staff at Twin Cities Orthopedic are amazing! Dr. Deal explains everything to you thoroughly and in terms that a lay person can understand. They did not automatically recommend surgery right off the bat, but after physical therapy and a cortisone shot were unsuccessful, it was decided that surgery was needed. Dr. Deal is a great surgeon and knows his job really well! Because of him and his team, I can now walk, sit and sleep pain free once again!

I had a snafu with a previous provider when I realized that the hospital he used was not in my network. Dr. Deal was able to get me in for a surgery consultation right away and schedule surgery within one month. That by itself was impressive, but I was more impressed by the quality of communication about the risks of surgery and what the procedure entailed. It made me happy that my other situation didn't work out because I ended up with a much better doctor in Dr. Deal. I had surgery for removal of a synovial cyst in my spine at L5/S1. Now, four months post-surgery, my pain is totally gone and I am completely healed. I am so grateful to Dr. Deal.
