I WAS VERY YOUNG TO BE HAVING STROKES.....IN MY EARLY 30'S.....AND I HAD 2 SMALL CHILDREN....NO ONE COULD FIGURE OUT WHY I WAS HAVING STROKES AT MY AGE.....I WAS REFERRED TO NEUROLOGIST AFTER NEUROLOGIST, UNTIL FINALLY ONE OF THE NEUROLOGIST KNEW THERE WAS SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT COULD HELP ME WITH MY STROKES....I WAS REFERRED TO DR DESHAIS. AND HE TOOK ONE LOOK AT MY MRI AND VERY MATTER OF FACT SAID,"YOU HAVE MOYA MOYA DISEASE" LIKE IT WAS SO OBVIOUS.....AND THEN WE TRIED A SIMPLE BALLOON TO TAKE CARE OF IT, AND THAT DID NOT WORK, SO WE WENT TO PLAN B.....BRAIN SURGERY. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 5 YEARS, AND HE CHECKS ME TO BE SURE THAT THE DOUBLE BYPASS HE DID ON ME IS STILL WORKING....IN MY AND MY FAMILIES EYES...DR DESAHAIS IS A LIFESAVER! THANK YOU DR DESHAIS FOR GIVING ME MORE TIME WITH MY HUSBAND AND CHILDREN!

Dr. Deshaies saved my husband's life by repairing his many AVM's. He is an outstanding neurosurgeon, very personable, and treats his patients and their families with respect. Dr. Deshaies also treats all his co-workers with respect and is beloved by them.

Excellent at explaining the problem, what he will do to fix the problem, and what to expect after he has fixed the problem. Excellent bedside manner and excellent treatment of his co-workers.

Dr. Deshaies operated on my brain aneurysm which took 3 titanium clips to close. The operation ended up being a little more involved than he expected from the tests given. He still did everything necessary for an excellent outcome. If I ever need a neurosurgeon again, I would have no other but Dr. Deshaies. I respect and like him immensely!!

I am very pleased with the professional and courteous care I received yesterday. This was the first time meeting my new neurologist. I look forward to his continued medical care in the future.
