Dr. Eric Andrew Dorn, MD

Dr. Dorn is the best doctor! He is truly compassionate about what he does. He is also very knowledgeable. As a teenager, it is hard to find the right doctor, but he is amazing! He always take his time and answers any questions to reassure me that I'll be fine. We followed him from his old practice and now drive 45 minutes just to see him at his new office. He was the only doctor willing to take on my many health issues. Dr. Dorn goes above and beyond to be a great doctor and cares about his patients.

I'v been to him twice for my toddler and both times I have walked out feeling deflated and upset. Instead if being encouraging and supportive Dr Dorn will use words that pretty much put you down as a parent. I'm pretty confident that I'm a good parent, but definitely not perfect in regards to getting my infant off the breast to bottle as soon as my child turned one- Dr dorn's words "you have ruined him" as I expressed how difficult it was getting my child off breast milk at 13 months. And yes I am struggling with my child not eating all regular food that isn't pureed. Yes my child uses the bottle at 16 months- Dr Dorn's words "your going backwards he should be drinking from a cup". I'm not sure if he has a tough love approach to parents but it's certainly not helpful and has been degrading to me instead of encouraging. Basically if your child doesn't tick all the boxes in the book, you are doing it all wrong according to Eric. It's unfortunate as I do believe he is knowledgeable but… probably lacks professional communication skills.

My children both adore Dr. Dorn. He takes as much time as needed to make us all feel comfortable. He explains things clearly and calls to follow up to see how things are going. I can't say enough wonderful things about him! He is an asset to the practice.
