Dr. Eric Reed Ehlenberger, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr E for many years now and I’m 100% satisfied with him & his entire staff. I’ve been dealing with back pain for 38 years due to a drunk driver plowing into me at a red light. I’ve had multiple back surgeries that lead to more back problems, plus permanent nerve damage that has left me disabled for the last 20 years. After seeing several neurosurgeons, orthopedic drs, physical therapy, and a spinal stimulator implant, many epidurals & a bunch of other things to no avail. I finally found a dr who truly cares & has sincere empathy for his patients, Dr. Eric Ehlenberger. After trying several different medications & alternative medicines, Dr E now has it to where I can live my life to where I can control my pain instead of my pain controlling me. I’m forever grateful for his expertise, his advice, his understanding & the time he takes with each patient to make their life more enjoyable while you’re dealing with pain everyday.

Dr.Ehlenberger is the best PainManagement doctor in the State of Louisiana. I have been going to Dr.Ehlenberger for the past 9 years, he is very dedicated, informative, insightful, and attentive to all of my issues.

Plan on spending ur while day here bring snacks but over all staff is very nice at least to me lol dr.e knows what he's talking about and takes his time that why u really wait all day to see him

Dr. E is a wonderful caring easy to talk to doctor... He listens and offers great advice. He is the most accomplished, experienced doctor that I have ever been to. He is a phenomenal doctor and a very warm, caring, wonderful man.. That combination is extremely rare and even harder to find. If your looking for a medication dispensary, this is NOT the doctor, but if your looking for that rare combination, this is your man

Been to many pain management doctors since my accident in 2002,Dr Ehlenberger has been the only one that has taken the time to explain his procedures and treatments.Ive only been seeing him for only 3 years but he has my chronic pain under control.my recommendation to anyone is go see Dr E you'll be amazed and pleased that you did.

Don't waste your time! He is unorganized, not prepared, every visit you must wait 3-5 hours. Then he gives you a lecture aout medications. He takes no insurance and you must pay at each visit. Mostly, don't waste your time.

At 1st I didn't like Dr.Ehlenberger beacuse he started cutting back on all of my meds, which scared me at 1st. Since getting to know Doctor "E" he really cater to your needs. He know's what best with me and I am learning that he is doing whats in my best interest. I like him a lot. Especially with my situation. I don't know if any of you know what "Eagles Syndrome is, but if you do, please feel free to share it with me. I have gone and they removed it the process but now im dealing with Scar tissue which causes chronic and sharp piercing pain. Dr. "E" is working on easing the pain and is studying my condition while he is treating it. Thanks Dr. "E".
