Dr. Eric Martin Ernster, MD

My 6 year old son broke his wrist and Dr. Ernster treated him last week in the ER. Before I walked into the room to see my son after the accident- he met me outside to warn me about what I was about to see. He was excellent with my son. He assured me that the treatment plan and resetting the fracture was the best way to go. He explained everything to me very thoroughly. It was a terrible situation but I’m glad we were treated with such kindness. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor that day. Thank you!

I do not have a good review for this doctor. I met him at an ER visit. He implied that I was trying to have my injury to get time off from work. I felt he overstepped. I needed a doctor. If someone is committing worker's comp fraud that wasn't his place to make that conclusion. His diagnosis was a sprained ankle. He made sure that I went to work the next day, my job entails walking and standing. His bedside manner was unprofessional. He made it clear that he was a sports mesicine doctor.

This doctor dismissed my pain and sent me home with muscle relaxers. My primary physician couldn't believe he didn't do any tests like x-ray or MRI. My PP sent me for an MRI and found that I had arthritis damage in my neck and I needed more than muscle relaxers.
