Dr. Eric Ferris received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2002 and then earned his Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2006. In 2005, Dr. Ferris completed two externships in Florida with focuses on primary care optometry, surgical cataract co-management, macular disease, and glaucoma. From 2006 to 2020 Dr. Ferris practiced at a general ophthalmology clinic in Gainesville, GA focusing on primary care, ocular disease, and surgical cataract co-management. Dr. Ferris has been a member of the American Optometric Association for eighteen years. Prior to moving to Grand Junction, Dr. Ferris was born and raised in South Florida. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughters, mountain biking and hiking, and also enjoys whitewater kayaking and motorsports.
