Dr Finkenstadt took care of my mother as if she were his own. Very compassionate doctor. He will always be a 5 star in my book.

I used to see Dr. Finkenstat for quite a few years, and I liked him very much. However, around 2014 I had a very bad exasperation at home and called asking him to prescribe the predison and antibiotic instead of going into the hospital again, he did but reluctantly, telling me he had me own every medications there was for emphysema, and I knew I didn't have much time left. About one week later I went to my PCP appointment and told them what Dr. Finkenstat said, here they told me of 2 medications the FDA had recently approved and the PCP prescribed them. WORSE WAS before that I had just been released from the hospital a few days later I was having a very hard time breathing and called the office leaving messages for him to call me about it, saying call my cell phone number because I was staying with my daughter, do not call my house phone. I can't remember how many times I called leaving the same message, but I finally stopped all medicines , not knowing if the new ones were the… cause. I was a mess, a miracle I didn't die from the reaction, but I started taking the one's I was taking before going into the hospital, it was the new ones that caused my breathing to become severe. After 3 weeks I left my daughter's, went back to my house, ,checked my answering machine, and there they were. ..Dr. Finkenstadt saying he was returning my call. Whoever was giving him my messages, ignored EVERY single time I said, call my cell phone. .and yes. .I ALWAYS left the cell phone number. Anyhow, I still like this doctor, but I felt he should have known about the 2 medications the PCP did, and his staff was extremely close to causing my death by not giving him my cell phone number that I gave on numerous calls.

He has been seeing me for 4 yrs. I believe he really cares about his pt.s he will aways work with you and i appreciate he always calls you back if you have a problem. I feel like im under great care thanks to him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Finkenstadt for many years. He is a very patient, well-informed and caring doctor. He never gives up in trying to find the correct diagnosis in order to relieve discomfort for his patients, and his office staff are all extremely helpful.

Only problem is no one answers the phone they do call you back the same day but would be better if u could tak to someone, the best staff and doctor I have ever dealt with.

Dr. Finkenstatdt is an excellent and caring doctor, with a quiet, calming demeanor. I went to him when no one else could figure out what was wrong with me. He listened and began testing, promising after his tests were completed,and the results were negative concerning my condition, he would do what I asked for going in, a broncoscopy. After all the results of his tests were in and negative, I awaited his notification as to when the bronchoscopy would be. He had arranged for all the other tests, having the testing location call me to establish an appointment. Everything was done by him and his office. However, because I was so sick and had been for so long I was not as proactive on my own behalf. Havig such a busy practice and it being holiday season, I got lost in the shuffle. I was so extremely ill and tired of fighting this terrible whatever it was. My husband my advocate and within two days, Dr. Finkenstadt had the diagnosis of Asthmatic Bronchitis. He quickly took action and I am… now doing much better and the terrible burning, rawness in my brochial tubes is gone. I have complete confidence in Dr Finkenstadt's being able to bring me back to complete health and a normal lifestyle again. He has helped me tremendously and is always available for me when I call. HE CALLS ALL HIS PATIENTS BACK HIMSELF!!!!!!! NO secretary or receptionist calls me, HE does. The only time a receptionist called was to tell me some paperwork I had dropped off was ready for pickup. This kind, compassionate doctor is from the old school. He reminds me of the doctor who took care of me when I was growing up, although I do not think Dr. Finkenstadt makes housecalls. :)If you are tired of trying to find a pulmonologist who will listen and is not in love with himself/herself concerning education, degrees and years of practice experience, THIS IS THE DOCTOR FOR YOU!!! With Dr. Finkenstadt you are NOT a number, you are a Human Being, a PERSON who is Hurting and he is ready, willing and more than able to help you, taking a personal interest in YOU!
