Overbooked doctor, more than 2 hours waiting time, avoid if possible

Professional, compassionate and shows patience!!! Couldn't ask for a better surgeon! We have nothing but honorary compliments. My son and I are grateful that Dr. Fornari was the one destined to have his case, did 2 of much needed surgeries and my son is doing excellent! Looking for a pediatric orthopedic surgeon; it is definitely him!

My daughter is very comfortable with dr. Fornari and so am I. He is a very thorough doctor and as he answers your questions and concerns you can see him paying attention. Which most doctors today lack. His bedside manner is on point. One in a million kind of surgeon

While the office is shiny and new, and the doctor is very courteous and professional, I would not recommend visiting this doctor if you have a high deductible plan. For a 5-10 minute New Patient office visit for my son, where the doctor just looked at his feet and asked me a few questions, Dr. Fornari billed my insurance $581.36. As my Blue Cross Blue Shield plan has a high deductible, my responsibility was $444.23. The rest was a contractual write-off. I know how high-deductible plans work. I also have been to a number of different specialists, who have performed procedures and or exams during my visits, for which they have never billed such an outrageous amount to the insurance. I had no way of knowing what the visit would cost me prior to setting up an appointment, as "you never know what the physician would charge." As a professional myself, I found this to be an egregious and unconscionable amount to charge for the service provided. When I called the staff, I was simply told that… I was responsible for my balance and that the physician was free to charge whatever he wanted.
