I would just be careful seeing this person. They all seem nice at the beginning but if this doctor is not your doctor but a company's doctor he will always be on the side of the company because they are the ones that are paying him. Plain and simple. he has ruined some careers and has deemed people unfit without any legit information and then refused to sign the disability paperwork. How messed up and unprofessional is that and he gets away with that. Just be careful and stay away from this unprofessional of a person and he calls himself a doctor.

I have found it difficult to find a psychiatrist who you get the sense really cares. Because most of the time you see a psychiatrist to write meds in connection with a pscyhologist whom you go to for talk therapy I am accustomed to psychiatrist's who spend very little time, do not get to know you well and almost add more stress to your treatment by insisting you make and keep regimented appointments or they hold your 'scripts hostage.Dr. Goldsmith is the opposite. He is extremely knowledgable and his subject matter expertise is clear when he speaks to you. Though the appointments are brief he remembers the details of your case from appointment to appointment and his bedside manner is gentle but authoritative. With Dr. Goldsmith you feel like you have an ally by your side while you battle your mental illness.I have been seing doctors to treat my depression and anxiety for over 15 years and Dr. Goldsmith is the best psychiatrist I have ever had.
