Great experience with the actual doctors, but this practice is a JOKE. Couple reasons: 1) I went for a physical and they charged me a co-pay, even though it was a preventative visit and covered by insurance......2 months later and I'm still awaiting the refund on this; 2) They assured me that the standard bloodwork done with my physical (for vitamin levels, cholesterol, etc) was covered by insurance but it was NOT; 3) They avoid you like the plague when you call the office to discuss a bill or dispute charges. Its a shame--i liked the doctor but this completely ruined my experience. An annual physical is supposed to be fully covered--not result in hidden fees and lies about what is covered.

he's really intense. freaks me out a bit. been seeing him for 2+ years and believe he's an excellent doctor, but i'm still not really comfortable with him at all.

I needed a new internist that was close to work and home. I simply picked him out of my insurer's book because he was convenient. I also liked the fact that he was young and well educated.I've been seeing him for about a year to care for my diabetes and general health. He is knowledgable, pleasant to work with and seems to care. The office staff is nice as well.Good choice for those looking for an internist.

Dr. Gomes is an incredibly competent physician with an impeccable bedside manner. More importantly, the office staff that support him and the other physicians and nurse practitioner is exceptional.
