Dr. Eric Gothelf

I would've never thought my teeth needed as much care until visiting my current dentist Dr. Gothelf. I used to think the appearance of my teeth would never be fixed unless I could afford braces. Dr. G and his wonderful staff made sure to let me know that my problem can be solved and cared for me every step of the process, even with follow-ups. I had an over-bite my entire life and he changed my front teeth to look completely natural now. I can finally close my mouth entirely and bite into food without any pain. Him and his kind staff have so much experience that they are as honest as they are compassionate. They will help you every step forward, thank you so much for being my dentist Dr. G! Also, the office is so nice and easy to maneuver, very easy to communicate with everyone!

I truly enjoy going to the Dentist even though I do not like it!! de Gothelf and staff make you feel safe and taken care of. I do recommend him highly!!

I have been going to this Doctor consistently for a few years now. I find him to be very clear and honest in his diagnosis, treatment and advice. On a recent emergency visit he accommodated my wife in a very short time and not only referred her to a surgeon but also his multilingual staff scheduled the same day appointment for her. Very nice, awesome staff but I was shocked with what I experienced in the waiting room. BILJANANA L is one nasty selfish woman!! I was at Dr. Gothelf’s office that night waiting in the waiting room to be seen when this rude loud whiny woman walked in and announced that her daughter needed to be seen immediately before people like myself who were there before her and before the other children there waiting to be seen. This loud complaining women started yelling at the receptionist that her child needed to be seen next. The doctor came in from the back where he was working to try to calm this nut job down. He was not successful. She started yelling at him. I was amazed at how Dr. Gothelf kept his cool and told her this was not an acceptable way to start a new doctor/patient relationship. She then started yelling “I will ruin you” over and over again. Thank God she left slamming the door behind her like a spoiled child. I just hope she gets the mental health treatment she so badly… needs. Not playing with a full deck. Kudos to Dr. Gothelf and the staff for keeping their cool.

Gothelf Eric "a dentist" - just made the worst experience and had terrible doctor's ethics with a 5 year old kid that was going to fix her cavities for the first time! The whole experience was an ordeal. I called dr Gothelf's office asking for an appointment for a 5 year old child to do her cavities and explained that we were switching from another dentist whose hours didn't work for us. They asked for insurance information in advance and I gave them. We had to wait for 3 weeks to have an appointment. No one didn't call to remind us and confirm the appointment on the day of it, so I called myself and confirmed that we were coming at 5pm. When we got there we learned they didn't check out our insurance, and we needed to call insurance for additional information to switch with a new doctor Gothelf. It's a routine thing for someone who works in the dentist office, but for us is a total news about procedure. The doctor Gothelf was "defending" his stuff who didn't let us know about it with… an attitude that I for sure don't have my kids X-rays and we would need to postpone the exam. I explained doctor that we can't push it because my 5 year daughter was very anxious about this appointment and that we talked with her a lot and prepared her for it, and also adjusted our schedules. I also came prepared and had X-rays with me, and I called the insurance and somehow managed to "switch" to this new dentist office. I let knew both doctor and stuff about it. In the meantime there was a family of I believe 4 (maybe 5 kids) and they were exchanging in the dentist office. I didn't follow their order but was hoping to finish soon because my daughter was very tired and scared, on the verge to give up, and then 2 hours after fixing her cavities she wouldn't be able to eat! Obviously, we were scheduled at the same time with other family but that's not the family's fault. BUT then an adult person came in. While the mom was gathering her family to leave, dr Gothelf called in an adult person that had been sitting there for only 5-10 mins beforehand. He called an adult to come in before my daughter! It's almost 6pm on a school night and we were waiting almost an hour!! I asked his stuff what was that, and she said they would be quick. I was already furious and wondering if I was going to let this person to work on my child's teeth, but then just wanted to end the whole experience for my kid. 10 mins later when I heard that drilling and drilling is not stopping, I asked to give me an estimate how long we would have to wait and told them that it's disrespectful to a little child. I told the doctor before how my daughter was sacred, and it's first time that she needed to fix her cavities and I don't want her to have a bad experience with a dentist. Gothelf told me not interfere how he managed his job and that my attitude wasn't a good start of a relationship!!! That's how he considered a child friendly behavior to let a 5 year-old to wait for 5 patients while she was scared on the school night at 6pm! He continued to be very rude and we left.

Dr. Gothelf is very professional and personable. He performs complicated procedures effortlessly and painlessly with a bit of good humor! I've been a patient of his for 20 years and my dental experiences with him have been without a doubt more than pleasant. His staff is amazing and very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. G!
