Dr. Eric Laurence Grasser, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Grasser's for five years. He gives his patients excellent attention, time, and care. I chose Dr. Grasser since he is a traditional medical doctor associated with local hospitals, but with the added benefits of knowing Integrative Medicine and Functional Medicine. Although I have not had any major health issues, it's always been a comfort to know that Dr. Grasser was there, available to consult with, and could see me if I ended up being hospitalized.

When I moved to Santa Fe I tried several doctors before finding Dr. Grasser on his website. I was impressed with his credentials and especially with his background in both Western and Eastern modalities. I found Dr. Grasser informed, committed, and open to any approach to address any health issue I had. He always made time to follow up, and I never felt he was in a rush. His sole priority was my health. This is a rare doctor in a field of business oriented, high volume physicians.

I have been a patient for the past two years and adore him! Not only is he well trained (Stanford undergraduate, Dartmouth Medical School), but he is kind, caring, compassionate and totally accessible. He practices the "old school medicine" that I grew up with in that his patients are important to him, he knows who you are, and is available when you need to see him. He has proved to be an excellent diagnostician and though he does practice Ayurvedic and "alternative" medicine, he is not afraid to prescribe traditional drugs when called for. There is never a wait to see him, and always a quick follow-up to any test results. He keeps track of when further testing or visits need to be scheduled and faithfully sends a gentle reminder. I have lived in Santa Fe for nearly 30 years and have lost 3 General Practitioners to retirement. Eric is young, dedicated, and I am so glad that he will be there for me as I get older.

The entire clinic is truly integrative - utilizing a wide variety of therapies and collaborating with a variety of health practitioners and medical centers in our community. The pharmacy stocks a full selection of top-notch supplements, and… everyone at the front desk is professional, friendly, supportive, and simply on top of everything. Dr. Grasser’s quality of care is exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone invested in their health and well-being.

I was so happy to find Dr. Grasser practicing medicine here. We moved here a few years ago and I was concerned about finding a physician who would competently care for me - a senior with assorted medical challenges. I have been with Dr. Grasser for more than a year and am so deeply grateful to have found him. He is very skilled and caring and thorough.

Dr. Grasser was recommended to me by my midwife as my newborn's primary care provider. Our appointment was pleasant and professional from beginning to end. Dr.Grasser listened to my concerns, and was respectful on my my healthcare decisions for my son. I can see why there are many glowing reviews for Dr. Grasser and his practice.

Dr. Grasser and Kristin are some of the most intelligent and compassionate providers I have encountered in the western medicine world. It is hard to get through the phone system at the office, but whenever I need something, they respond professionally. My kids love Kristin even though she has to give them shots - it is kind of amazing. Our family has seen Dr. Grasser for more than a couple years now and we appreciate his open views on alternative vaccine schedules, nutrition, and lifestyle.

Dr. Grasser is the best doctor I have ever seen. He has an impressive education and is internationally known for his work in Functional Medicine and Ayurveda, but more importantly, he is compassionate, smart, has a wealth of knowledge on Western and Integrative Medicine, and is great at explaining things and putting them in perspective. I have been so pleased and impressed. Now I take my whole family to him. I would even pay extra just to have him as my doctor!

Dr. Grasser is the best! Very rare these days to find a doctor that is willing to take the time and expend the energy to fully understand the health of the patient. Too often, Doctors are just reacting to complaints, Dr. Grasser truly is interested in the overall health of his patients.

Dr. Grasser is an outstanding doctor! His diagnoses are based on cutting edge research rather than old-fashioned paradigms. He is kind and personable and obviously cares about each and every patient. I moved to Santa Fe from the New York area two years ago and feel that I get better care from Dr. Grasser than from my NY doctors. I wish that I could give him more than five stars!
