Dr. Eric Geo Gordon Hartmann, MD

Never. Will I ever. Ever. Accept treatment from Dr. Eric Hartman again. I went to the Emergency room at Swedish, and was unfortunately seen by this cold, rude, uncaring doctor. My entire family is in the medical profession. I know doctors. I get doctors. I know how hard it is, and what it takes to see sick people every day, it's hard, I know. But what struck me in particular was that he was unwilling to talk to me about the very serious reason I was there. He wouldn't have a conversation with me. He didn't give me the correct information about what was wrong or how to take the medication he prescribed. In fact, the nurse asked me some routine questions and found out he hadn't done his job at all and she told me "That's very serious, I'll have to have a talk with him, because he should have told you about ________" I waited in a freezing hospital room for 3 hours alone. He came in twice for less than 5 minutes. He would wander in, act distracted and agitated, and wander out.… Additionally, I had some major trouble with filling my prescription and the pharmacy needed to contact my doctor. The pharmacist and I both called, but Dr. Eric Hartman was off for the day, couldn't be reached and wouldn't be back in for days. I understand having a day off, but what do patients do in that situation? How do you deal with something like that? I felt completely un-taken care of at Swedish. And I now have doctor's fees of almost $800. I am literally paying for 10 minutes and being misinformed. I wish I could give my money to the nurses who actually DID care for me.

ER visit--Dr. was spacy and distracted. Didn't ask enough questions to make an accurate diagnosis. Pleasant, but not competent.
