Philosophy: I learned early on while in dental school that every patient is different. The expression, "never judge a book by its cover" applies to dentistry. I walk into each exam room with a blank slate. The chart, the x-rays, and the information the patient provides is what guides my treatment plan. It's nice to see healthy teeth-people who brush well and floss daily, but my job also means solving larger problems. I never judge the patient. Instead, I judge the situation and try to work with the patient on the best way to solve the dental issues. Sometimes the solution is economic; sometimes my solution is based on cosmetic concerns the patient has; or sometimes the solution I negotiate with the patient is based on finding the quickest path.
