Dr. Eric John Hess, MD

Dr. Hess was indifferent, has poor social skills and worst of all was condescending and paid no attention to the patients complaints. His "medical" diagnostic skills were no better than guess work. My husband died within 5 months after seeing Hess several times, in which Hess never was capable of considering my husbands symptoms

Dr. Hess is impressive--a good listener and doesn't make you feel rushed. I also like his businesslike manner, as he seldom strays from the matter at hand--specific issues regarding my health. Very nice-looking and professional in manner.

In my 61 years, I have not met a more caring and professional and accurate physician. I have never felt hurried even when I know my visit is taking a bit longer than was anticipated. If I have to wait a bit, I figure that Dr Hess is treating that patient with the same care and understanding that he always has my husband and myself. We have been his patients, as well as my Mom, brother and sister-in-law for over 9 years. He knows what to ask even when I am not sure what I need to tell him is wrong. He has never missed a diagnosis and even recognized a serious problem for my husband and recommended an excellent surgeon to follow up with. I can't say enough good about Dr. Hess. He doesn't just ask about the medical issues but in asking about life in general is able to find out more about your health by what you are doing or not doing. He can spot a problem before it gets out of hand and will not hesitate to suggest a solution even if that is not what you went in to see him about. I just… wish more physicians could be like him.

I am not one that would go to a doctor, but Dr. Hess changed all that for me.

Bedside manner is exceptional. Very friendly, courteous and willing to listen. Dosen't jump to conclusions to try to get you out like so many other doctors. Spends time to get it right the first time. Now as far as the office staff, it sucks. never return your calls. you always have to call back for them to check the prescription you are refilling. Took 2 days and 4 phone calls for the staff to contact the pharmist on a prescription.
