Two appointments..one first in AM THE second I was called in 45 min before the appointment to get results ..BOTH WERE 45 min late!!!

Dr. Hong has poor communication skills.

a poor visit, Dr Hong would not explain anything, the office was often uncontactable, they promised things they never delivered, and then the tests they ordered did not match what was requested

i was assigned to dr. hong when another doctor in the group retired, but not only was i totally dismissed by dr hong on my first visit, even though i was suffering from recent blackouts and asked to be tested, his group, san diego cardiovascular, refused to address my complaints or move me to another doctor in the group. the office manager just wouldn't accept my calls nor return them after my initial conversation expressing my concern. i am still appalled at such uncaring treatment by by both the doctor and staff, especially when we were dealing with heart issues. and also surprised because the cardiologist i had seen for almost 20 years prior was amazing and was listed among san diego's best doctors for many years as were others in this group, so i thought the level of care would remain the same. i didn't want to write this, but i think there has been a paradigm shift in this office.
