I have had the privilege of being treated by Dr Jacobsen in the ER on several occasions. Most importantly, he saved my life and my sanity! He is kind, empathetic and an exceptional diagnostician. I have seen Dr. Jacobson more than once at the ER. His is just the BEST GUY!! He listens so carefully, which is crucial. He gives a patient enough time to explain themselves thoroughly, On all occasions he gave me all the correct meds needed, let me rest, and saved me from some hellish experience. I feel lucky to know he works at French ER. Thank you Dr. Jacobson!!!

We are absolutely blessed to have a talent like his at a nondescript ER in Paso Robles. My roommate tripped into a portable oil heater. His ear was in tatters and it looked like a Rottweiler had gotten hold of it. After it became infected, 2 days later, he decided it was time to have a doctor look at it. After 15 stitches and about 3 weeks you would be hard pressed to find any signs of the repair. Dr. Eric J Jacobsen has the talent of a Hollywood plastic surgeon and our little burg is very lucky to have him.

The only reason he got a 1 star is cause i had to. I have told people if they want any type of pain meds and then released quickly visit French ER when he's on duty. I have been told by others who have seen him he did they same thing. After being released the next day had to have emergency surgery and my blood work was abnormal. He acted like he didn't care. Just wanted to dull the pain and send u somewhere else so he didn't have to do any work. Horrible horrible.
