My teen had been brushed aside by many doctors but Dr. Jelin looked her in the eye and told her that her pain is real. He was very patient in answering all the questions we had and set our expectations appropriately by being honest about the chances of the surgery working for her. He is very quick to recognize his limitations and will honestly say what he can and cannot do. He is very responsive and approachable. He did not talk down to me, rather he quickly realized that I had done my homework as a parent. It was a pleasure working with him!

We can’t appraise and appreciate Dr. Jelin enough. During my pregnancy, my little son was diagnosed with Congenital Pulmonary Airways Malformation (CPAM) by my 20-week ultrasound. Those were the darkest days for my family. Dr. Jelin helped transfer us to the fetal therapy team, and supported us during the whole pregnancy. He explained to us all the details about the lung issues, and patiently answered each of our questions during the surgery consultation. My son was born at 37 weeks. Within 24 hours after his birth, Dr. Jelin successfully performed a lobectomy to remove his lung mass on a Saturday morning. When my son was recovering in the NICU, he was then found to have intestinal atresia. Dr. Jelin conducted another complicated surgery for my 7-day-old baby to repair his disconnected intestine. My little son has been recovering very well. Dr. Jelin is professional, talented and caring. We were lucky to have had Dr. Jelin to save our little son’s life two times, and we highly… recommend Dr. Jelin to anyone needing pediatric procedures for their kid.

Dr. Eric Jelin is truly an amazing surgeon. He gave me such a better quality of life and a chance to have a life that I can be proud of. He tells you how it is and helps you understand your condition. He made me feel comfortable and ready for my surgery. While many doctors had dismissed my daughter throughout her life, Dr. Jelin was not afraid to look outside the box and see her as a "zebra." He went above and beyond, understanding our family was emotionally and mentally exhausted as we searched to discover what was wrong with our child. Our daughter being 16, he included her in everything and never spoke down to her. He went as far as caling me at 9:00, on a Friday night, during a holiday weekend while he was in his car. We will be forever grateful for his expertise and dedication.

Dr. Jelin is an amazing pediatric surgeon. He deserves a ten! His skills and expertise are beyond perfect. He has a kind heart especially for the little ones. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated. He made me feel comfortable and answered questions to make sure I fully understood my child's situation and procedure.
