Dr. Eric Allen Kovan, DO

DO NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR. Very unprofessional, arrogant, uses fowl language and seems to know what is wrong with you before a complete exam. I spent over a year and lots of money utilizing his services with no relief. Ended up at another Pain Managment Clinic.

He definitely doesn't over-prescribed he definitely does not over-prescribed

Before I dismissed myself from Dr. Kovan...He sent me out to get and injection in my lower lumbar....Dr. Kovan did not tell me or explain to me about the lower painful back injection that I received! I sign the information,and to this moment I am having pain in the area where I received my injection. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ON HIS BEHALF.

Dr. Kovan is exceptional and caring. I've been looking for a pain doctor for years and finally believe I have found someone who will go the extra mile to relieve your pain.He listens, gives options and treats you like anintelligent individual. Please if you are in pain see Dr. Kovan. You won't be sorry.

Ive seen Dr. Kovan a few times. Im terminally ill and the Doc is patient gast and understanding. He makes sure your not waiting because his patients are ill. I laugh everytime im there even thou im ill he is a caricature and a good Doctor.

Dr. Eric Kovan is the first doctor that actually cared about my chronic pain and treated me in every way possible to help ease my day to day pain! Physical therapy, trigger injections, x-rays, CT Scans and MRI’s, and epidurals. He’s hit my pain from every direction He is ALWAYS prompt, I’ve never had to wait to be seen and I’m out of there within 15-20 minutes!!! I will always be grateful to him for truly caring about me as a patient and years later a friend. He is a great man!!! ??????

Dr. Kovan has helped me get relief from LBP with good care, good nature and good humor

We liked this Dr and We will go back We found the Novi staff to be distracted at the end of the day, maybe a morning appointment is best All doctors are busy - we must advocate for ourselves and be somewhat educated before going into our appointments- this office is no different so advocate for your medical needs and bring documentation of why you need what you need. We believe Dr Kovan will listen and give the best care he can. If you are auto insurance or workers comp take someone with you like a case mgr or non-family attendant care provider.

I visited Dr. Kovan because he came highly recommended by other doctors and their staff members as well. I found him very pleasant, very thorough, very helpful and consider him to be a good doctor. I would visit him, again, but not ever again at his Livonia office. That is because the front desk staff at the Livonia office are the rudest I have ever seen. They act like it is a total imposition if a patient needs a questioned answered or any help with anything. They also waste patient's time with the misinformation they hand out. If that were the only office that Dr. Kovan worked out of I would most certainly find a different doctor. He does work out of two other locations and I would visit one of them before deciding to change doctors

Great bedside manners. He thinks he is the best. If you like pain, see him. They gave me tennis balls to squeeze for pain. No anesthetic. No relief from pain. I've chosen to go elsewhere.
