He hates white people specifically Christian’s. He will charge your insurance to the point the insurance company contacts you consistently. He will not help any further than money will allow

Unfortunately, I am not going to leave a "pleasant" review for Dr. Last and his "front" office..... It's hard to believe I am leaving this review since my husband has been a patient for over 15 years with Dr. Last. Beware if you are looking to do a "second" opinion...Dr. Last was totally upset when I chose to since it was so important for us being a oncologist who we weren't crazy for at Northwell, so we went for a 2nd opinion. When Dr. Last found out, he refused to see my husband when he had an issue after doing chemo. Dr. Last's office told me to have my husband call Mt. Sinai up where he was getting treated!!!!! Never got a call from him to see if my husband has been dead or alive!!!! I am beyond furious!!!! How dare he! Everyone is entitled to have a 2nd opinion if they choose to!!!!! The front office is abrupt, and a lot of times not too pleasant!!! So, everyone please be aware of the "2nd Opinion"...he will turn his back on you in a second like he did with my… husband!!!!!!! Beware. They scam the insurance company and order unnecessary tests to line the doctors pocket. Maybe a mistake? Good luck trying to reason with them. Stay away. Anonymous post. Their unprofessionalism knows no bounds. They shrug you off if you have any and whoever does the billing needs more training.

I have been seeing this doctor for 6 years. Great care and service.

I’ve only been a patient there for a short time, but I’m very happy so far. I feel that they were very attentive to my concerns and addressed each and every one of them. I’m very hard to please when it comes to drs. i want someone who listens and they were excellent t!!! Highly recommend.

Dr. Last is very caring and compassionate. He takes the time to hear your concerns. he does order a lot of tests, and send you for referrals. But I like to think he is being cautious, not just beefing up his bank account. His staff is the polar opposite. The front desk staff, who look like sisters and are so rude and cold. They barely acknowledge your presence. if you dare ask a question you get a curt answer. But the worst person in this office is by far the office person, Laurie. She is down right mean. Actually yelled at me one time because i questioned the charges billed to my insurance. If i didnt like Dr. Last so much I would move on. But since i think he is a good dr I put up with his staff. not sure how much longer it will be worth it.

Patient, kind, and takes time to help you understand what you need to know.

I'm so happy I switched to Dr Last. Not only is he caring, he listens carefully and spends time with you. He is smart and explains everything. He comes up with a plan that includes you and makes you feel comfortable. Staff is nice, not warm and fuzzy but efficient.

Dr Last's office staff is horrible.

Dr Last has been my doctor for at least 25 years. He was highly recommended by people at work and I have since recommended him many times, always with a good result. It may sound over the top, but I can not imagine a better, nicer, more skilled or compassionate doctor. You never feel rushed, always feel heard and he is willing to fight for you if the insurance company won't cooperate. He is 5 star.
