Eric Joel Lawitz, MD

Dr Eric Lawitz is a great, caring, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor who knows everything about your liver!! He cured my husband of Hep C 10 years ago and Dr Lawitz examines him twice a year to watch for any sign of cancer so we can catch it early. Because this man take such good care of him, he is still happy and healthy! We are so appreciative of him and highly recommend him, we can't thank him enough.

When I arrived for my liver biopsy, I was quite afraid and unsure if I wanted to go through with the procedure. When it came time to sign the authorization forms, I became very stressed out and asked to speak with Dr. Lawitz. The Doctor came down and sat with me for awhile. He explained everything to me, he had a great bed side manor. After speaking with him, I decided to go through with the biopsy. Dr. Lawitz did the biopsy fast and I felt no pain. He was great. Also, my nurse, Maria, was the best! She was very kind, very attentive to all my needs before and after the biopsy! Thank you Maria, job well done! I would also like to send a special Thank You to PA Teresa Castillo! She took care of all my needs and concerns. She made me feel safe and cared for and she always returned my calls. She is awesome!

Dr lawitz saved my life. His staff and knowledge and dedication is incredible. The fast growth of the practice ( amr) has let a some associates in that dont measure up to the level of the early members. thank you

Doctors staff are very friendly & courteous to patients. The doctor has never appeared in a hurry during office or procedure with me. He will explain the test and treatment to your understanding. What did I like? : location, downtown & ease forgetting there What I didn't like?: pretty much everything else. Poor bedside manner; unethical Dr. & staff; talk about assembly line type of medicine! All about the numb of patients he can see, the amount of $$ he can get/charge. Would NOT recommend him to anyone!
