I am a neuroradiologist with expertise in the imaging of pediatric tumors of the brain, spine, and neck. I also have strong interest in the imaging of spinal disease, with a particular expertise in computed tomography-guided biopsies of the spine. My neurosurgical colleagues and I are currently involved in the introduction of intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging. My research focuses on MRI of the bone marrow utilizing advanced techniques, such as diffusion-weighted imaging, in patients with prostate cancer and leukemia.

Precise, friendly and kind. Dr. Lis’ expertise and warm bedside manner made getting a lumbar puncture as pleasant as it could be. Highly recommended.

Dr. Lis is kind, caring, optimistic, and thorough. He takes the time with his patient and their family and due to his optimistic views, was able to perform what a lot of others thought would not be possible. So thankful to have our daughter under his care.

I saw Dr Lis today and he really focused on what was wrong with my back. his clarity of explanation and kindness in telling me--and showing me on the films--what is going on in my back--was amazingly helpful. He really took the time to resolve all sorts of concerns that had actually been festering for several years! He really knows his stuff! straightforward. what a lucky day!
