Excellent, caring doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Maas three times per year for the last five years, for treatment of MS. My wife attends each appointment with me to insure the accuracy of the information I provide the doctor and the doctor provides me. Dr. Maas has always shown the utmost respect toward me and my wife. He will spend as much time with us as needed to insure that I recieve the best care. He allows me to be part of the decision making process and is very thorough during his examinations and tests he may order. He is an outstanding physician who cares.

I found Dr Maas is no longer in my health plan, so I called to ask him to recommend another neurologist for me. However, the staff was abrupt and refused to even leave a message with the doctor, saying they could not put a message through - since he is not my doctor!!!

He is untruthful.

At first I thought he was going to be helpful. He made a referral to another doctor and said he wanted to know how things turned out. When I tried to reach him after the surgery he was no longer interested. I had to beg to get another appointment with him which he cancelled two hours before the appointment. He never bothered to reschedule. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone who needed follow-up care or encouragement. He fails on all levels.
