Dr. Eric Ward Nolan, MD

To calm your self a doctor means you have manners and compassion for people... NOT him its how many pills can I put you on and how FAST can I get you out... most times I didn't even see him for more then 10 mins! And he bills like he's a king... more like trash. Do t take anyone you love to him

We recently decided to switch from Dr Nolan after he treated my son. My son was later diagnosed by a different doctor with bipolar, anxiety. and adhd. Dr Nolan refused to listen to us with our concerns of his up and down behavior. He never diagnosed him with anything else but "anxiety" therefore our son was never on the correct meds. He also has treated my daughter, and while he was ok with her for a while (has great bedside manner for kids) he never tried to help get accommodations at their school for either of my children. Refused to write letters for therapeutic school recommendations or offer help in any other way. He is very conservative with medicine, wanted to give my daughter Benadryl for panic attacks. She has a lot of anxiety but never changed her dosage on her medicines. I feel that he really pushes school way too much instead of really trying to help kids with their mental illness.

He has the worst hours. He sees kids so you think he would have better hours to accommodate their schedule with school or kids are in travel sports. When i called they wanted me to take my child to a day appointment and miss school.

Dr Nolan is a young psychiatrist . He is a good doctor but his professional dressing code should be improved. He wears a sleeper and jeans during his appointments... He should dress better . It looks unprofessional . His waiting room is very uncomfortable , no couch just plastic chairs. He is also the only doctor I have been that it always ahead of time... He is obsessed for his patients to be on time. Not 1 min late. He is also difficult to talk . His first appointment waiting time is 6 weeks .... I recommend Doctor Nolan but I think he should listen better to the parents.
