Dr. Eric Jason Pales, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Pales for years. He is an excellent diagnostician and supports preventive medicine. I recommend him for regular health care needs.

I am a physician and recently began seeing Dr. Pales as my primary doctor. I am very impressed with his level of medical knowledge. He made a number if important diagnoses related to my condition that were not made by other physicians. He had a lot of great suggestions that will help me to stay healthy in the future. I have worked with many physicians and can honestly say that he is among the best.

Dr. Pales does not have the personality or composure to communicate well with to provide quality healthcare. He is not the type of doctor you can depend on because of his unpredictable irritable disposition. I do not recommend Dr. Pales.

Dr. Pales did not provide me with sufficient explanations for tests or follow up care. He does not take the time to answer questions and lacks the consideration for addressing healthcare treatment.

I was a patient of Dr. Pales prior to him starting his own practice. When he opened his own practice he and his staff were great. It went downhill quickly. He is a very knowledgable doctor, but is very condescending. I saw him for many years and can say that I typically was brought into a room 1-2 hours after my scheduled appt. time...and you could add another hour before he would come into the room. If you want your test results, don't wait for him to call you. I've heard the same from other patients as we all sat in the waiting room.

hours! I wish I was exaggerating. 4 hours I spent in his office the other week. I came in for a routine physical at 3:50pm (my appointment was at 4pm) and left his office at 8pm. As I was leaving I told him that I just spent 4 hours for the visit and he just said “it’s been one of those days.” He couldn’t even apologize much less act he cared. This was my third visit to this Dr and each time was not a positive experience. He and his staff have been rude and just give me the impression that I’m wasting their time and could care less about my business.

I am a healthy individual and just see doctors, when I am annually required for a medical checkup or due to a sudden infrequent illness. I have been Dr. Pales' patient since 2011 and had contact with him and his office several times since. Dr. Pales was recommended to me by reliable source, so I was really optimistic about becoming his patient. I even convinced my husband to become his patient as well. Nevertheless, I am very dissatisfied with the experience and have moved on. Whenever I needed an urgent care like the most recent strep throat problem, the doctor was not available to see me. I was treated like a health maintenance person subjected to at least few days waiting. Everyone knows that when you are sick, you need urgent care, not a prolonged pain! I did not receive the attention I needed and grew very frustrated each time this happened. I eventually just set at home with pain, taking care of my young children until the pain went away on its own. Also, if you get Dr.… Pales on the phone, he will charge for his time, even when he is unhelpful. Once I got prescription, so I let it slide. The other time, he refused to give me any prescription and could not see me until few days later. This was the painful strep throat I had. His office staff lacks personality and charm. They made me feel like I am lucky to have them, like they are Gods send. I will not be going back and cannot recommend Dr. Pales or his staff to anyone.

Dr. Eric Pales has a bad attitude and can be rude.

Always ready to explain your condition and why and how he is going to treat you. Feel trust and at ease talking to him. He is a keeper.

He is a great Doctor, but his bedside manner is lacking. He is very down to earth, but kind of a smart alec which can be frustrating when you are talking to him about something serious.
