Overall GREAT experience. She was very nervous getting out of the car but even the front staff made her feel comfortable. The nursing staff was amazing! They explained absolutely every step and directed all information to her as well as us (parents). That made her more comfortable. I loved the fact that dr Potthoff came in beforehand to speak with us and her and asked if we had questions. And then spoke with just us afterwards to explain again what happened. The Dr then came and saw my daughter after she woke up and explained everything directly to her. This amazed me! How very thoughtful and dedicated a surgeon to spend the extra time to speak with all of us 3 seperate times. I absolutely loved using the surgery center and would highly recommend it to anyone. I even received a phone call the next day to follow up on how she was doing. What a great experience and an amazing staff! Thank you Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Always highly efficient,in all aspects with Dr.Potthoff and staff. I had knee replacement surgery 3wks 4days ago and using a cane now.I recommend him to everyone.

I have had multiple surgeries with Mercy and the Surgical Center and have always felt like they were professionals and were very attentive to my comfort, informing me of what was to come and have never had a negative result whether it be with the surgery itself or just interacting with the staff.

I always have an excellent experience with the Orthopedic dept. whenever I have appointments. Dr. Potthoff explains all the options that are there for my hip and always is very thorough.

This was a follow up visit from knee replacement. Dr, Potthoff was informative and answered my questions and referred me to a neurologist for further canalization of a dropped foot problem. The nurse took out some stitches and was gentle. A good visit on a whole.

Had my consultation for a right hip replacement. Had no wait time for either xray and appointment which was rare but nice. Even back in room had little wait time. My questions and concerns were answered.

Diagnosis and appropriate treatment was swift. Dr. Potthoff quickly recognized the problem...bursitis...and a cortisone shot was administered. Relief came within two days and continues thus far. Everyone with whom I had contact during my appointment was efficient, caring and friendly. Glad I was referred here!

I went in for a shoulder consultation. The Dr examined me, answered my questions, and we came up with a treatment plan and follow-up date. The visit was exactly as I expected, and the staff was very kind! I had almost no wait when I arrived. They were ready for me within a couple of minutes of checking in.
