Dr. Eric Anthony Poulin, MD

Very dismissive and disinterested in hearing what I had to say. Spent very little time with me, never asked about symptoms, never did an exam. Absolute waste of time. Would give zero stars if I could. He seemed to have a very poor grasp of viral diseases.

I have seen him twice and both times were horrible. He does not listen and minimizes your symptoms. I'm so lucky that I didn't listen to him and found a doctor that listened to me. That doctor ordered a test and then we found out what was wrong. Poulin should find a different occupation.

This man has the audacity to shame and make fun of patients during appointments. With a scribe in the room no less. He will think you are lying about existing health conditions despite records he pulls up in front of him during a visit. In his eyes, every past doctor you’ve visited is wrong. This man is no doctor—he’s a contrarian who will misdiagnose before admitting he’s wrong.

How can he still be employed as a physician? Beware. My son died under his care because he did the minimal standard of care for a Dr. at his level- which wasn’t much. He made us, the parents think he would be OK- our sons life didn’t have to end this way.-

He ran over an hour late, came in and informed me he did not have time to perform the physical I made the appointment for. Proceeded to shame me about my medical condition and did not listen to me or ask any questions about my concerns. Prescribed unnecessary meds and has not been respectful in any follow up questions.

Had an MRI of my pelvis a spine specialist ordered. She prescribed ONE Ativan to help me relax due to chronic pain not anxiety during the procedure. Dr. Poulin took it as anxiety he obviously dose not read notes. What he lied about was what the MRI revealed. He said it was normal, the doctor who ordered it already told me it wasn't. Also, a few weeks earlier, I started having new symptoms he again said it was normal. I couldn't take the pain anymore so I went to the ER where they referred me to a podiatrist for my extreme pain of my feet. He said he saw there was no swelling and no explanation for my pain, gave a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. The next day I had my appointment with the podiatrist, she clearly there was swelling and explained my condition that causes excruciating pain. She ordered a prescription for pain relief. If I would've went with Dr.Poulin's diagnosis, I would have continued to suffer and possibly lost my toes to amputation. I will never go back to him, he is not to… be trusted. In the meantime, I search for a good doctor. Whatever you do, don't go to him.

Every time I have had to see Dr. Poulin I have had poor care. Misdiagnosed, bad bedside manner, and contradicting what specialists have said. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

I had a huge boil behind my left ear, grew from a pea size to golf ball size in 2 to 3 days. Turned out it was a MRSA staff infection. Very painfull. Dr Poulin is the doctor that did the lancing it open in a few spots and squeezing it and packing the hole. It hurt so bad before and during but I could not be put on an antibiotic until results came back on staff. When they did a different Dr put me on the wrong antibiotic, but I did not know that. Dr Poulin called me at work and asked me what kind of drainage I was having and that was very nice. He also told me I was switching antibiotics to two different ones and told me the side effects, like orange urine. I like Dr Poulin, he follows up on his patients. Also the Nurse was very kind, thank heavens for that also.
