Dr. Eric S Pryor, DDS

I had a work by Dr. Pryor very nice man. I went back to have more work and I asked him how much would this work cost me....using very plain English he informed me that with my insurance it would be 180.00 out of pocket for me. *please note this was the Dr giving me the price not an nurse or some other staff. So I agree to have the work completed at 180.00 out of pocket for me. After it was said and done I was leaving and at the desk where I should have paid the 180...now it was almost 500!!!! I said that is NOT WHAT THE DR TOLD ME! She said well this is what it cost to do this work. I told her what he told me and how it was explained and she said well this is the cost. I paid it without knowing what to do. Never once did she consult the Dr on his price he gave me. I called back later that day and told her to please remove me from the schedule that I was told by the Dr. one price and she charged me another price and that just was not fair or right...NO ONE ever goes in to get work done… without know the price....that is just crazy! So I let it go...today I get another call for the office to informed me I owe yet another 500.......we rehashed my last visit and she said "well we gave you a service and now you have to pay for the service the Dr. did not know the prices I run the front desk" my reply was I agreed to the service based on what information my Dr. gave me....I did not think it was fair to change the price after I agreed with my Dr on a plan. So good luck to you with your payment and this office. Maybe record what your told...or get it in writing.
