Dr. Eric N Prystowsky, MD

I started my journey with cardiologists about 10 years ago. I was missed diagnosed as having panic attacks. I quit seeing cardiologists because I lost faith in them. I continued to have issues and when we decided to get pregnant I knew I needed to see someone. I found Dr. Prystowski. He asked me my story and immediately came back with a diagnosis that no one had ever mentioned. It was such a piece of mind to know it wasn't all in my head. He gave me a new med that works and helped me through my pregnancy. He became my hero. My first visit he I was not sure how to feel about him. But he is a doctor, he isnt there to be my friend. The wait time can be long, but its because he is giving each patient the amount of time they need, not rushing you in and out. And he has always apologized if the wait was crazy long.

WAITED 3.5 HOURS IN WAITING ROOM, COMPLAINED TO NURSE. THEN DR. STATED I COULD GO TO SOMEONE ELSE IF I DIDNT LIKE IT. SO I DID. DIFFERENT HOSPITAL. DIFFERENT DR. NO TIME FOR HIS GREAT OPINION OF HIMSELF WHEN I HAVE HEART PROBLEMS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS NUT!

Dr P did not want to listen to anything I had to say and did not help me at all to try to make an informed decision about the proper course of treatment for my heart condition. I was more confused and stressed after that meeting. Sadly, he did not even take the time to review a recent echocardiogram and cardiolite stress test we had delivered to his office 2 to 3 weeks prior to my appointment. He is just too full of himself to listen to patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Prystowsky for many years. He has always explained things well and answered all my questions.

NO TIME TO LISTEN TO YOU ABOUT CONCERNS, ANY QUESTION IS MET WITH A RESPONSE AS IF YOUR ATTACKING HIS CREDIBILITY NOT THAT YOUR CONCERNED AND WANT TO UNDERSTAND. THREATENS THAT YOU GO TO ANOTHER DR. IF U DONT LIKE IT. HE NEEDS TO RELAX, HAVE COMPASSION OR HIS HEART WILL GIVE OUT.

Went to my first visit w/ Dr. P and found out more about his accomplishment and how great he was than I found out about me. Seemed to be a bully, w/ no regard for my personal issues or the fact I was finacialy strapped. Wanted to put me through a barrage of tests when all I came for was advise about my meds. He is like most Drs. who like to spread the wealth around by running sometimes unnecessary procedures. In short, I am not as impressed with him as he is w/ himself.

This man needs to retire. Eric Prystowsky has forgotten that medicine is about the patient, not about his ego! If I could give him no stars I would.

He reminded me at least four times during each visit about his fame as an author. Over multiple visits he cared more about telling me who he was then me. He's not blessed with the ability to listen. Very poor bed side manner.

He gave me my life back and worked with me until we found a solution. He was the only doc that was willing to help me through a lengthy and difficult diagnosis and treatment. Thanks Dr. P. You're the Best!

This doctor is very arrogant, condescending, sarcastic, rude with a capital "R", displayed complete lack of caring, intolerate of questions and is too narrow focused to help anyone with multiple issues. This is not a single visit experience but was the same experience each time over multiple visits.
