He's definitly hopped up on something DONT WASTE YOUR TIME---staff is cool He's just a nut!...… coming from a person thats PERMANTLY DISABLED ALL he wants too do is put you asleep and put needles in your back! lol...I over heard him sayin charge $30 a shot cause I pay $12... He's makin # off whoever goes its like a legal drug shot! CLOWN!

Left 3 messages to get an appointment for chronic cerical spine pain, and 4 days later I have still not gotten a response. ??????

Unclean office, rude staff 2 hour wait. I had to sit outsides cause office was over crowded. Yelled at me like I was a child. Don’t bother!!

WAITING FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS IN THE WAITING AREA FOR PAIN INJECTIONS, LATER FINDING OUT HE WAS TAKING A NAP LAYING OUT IN THE SUN IN HIS SCRUBS WHILE PEOPLE ARE WAITING IN PAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY CANT EVEN CALL HIM A DOCTOR HES A JOKE VERY RUDE !!!!

Injections were pain free at a surgical clinic and a set of 3 got me nearly pain free

Just awful. Very arrogant, supercilious, and clearly interested in making money off of his creams. Doesn't really care, but pretends to be your friend. So disappointing

I have taken my mother with advanced dementia to his office numerous times for lower back corticosteroid injections. In spite of many times asking that she not be asked to wait because of the difficulties of the waiting room for her and confusion, her wait time has always been over an hour, sometimes two. I just tried to make another appointment --they never (I mean never) have answered the general phone number (I have made over 15 phone calls to them over the last 3 years). The phone message cautions you about leaving multiple messages on their answering machine, but they do not return phone calls sometimes (I mean sometimes) for days afterwards. This time, they returned the call within five hours because I did not opt for Dr. Ratner's extension #7. This is all seen by Joanne (assistant) as a sign of him being a good doctor and that that kind of service should be expected. I was told just today by her that they would be cautious of a doctor who did not make them wait. In… other words the message is that I expect too much when asking to consider my mother's dementia in scheduling appointments and trying to have the time in a confusing environment reduced. I was also told by Joanne that he accepts all patients, and helps everyone. What they are not getting that not everyone can endure (those with dementia) this kind of waiting. I don't know why they schedule appointments - they should go to the Indian way of doctoring - you just show up and wait. Then, as Joanne told me, he could service everyone, turn no one away and all the time people waste waiting to make an appointment and waiting to be seen would be saved. STAY AWAY if you expect professionalism here from office management and phone answering staff.

Staff is very rude and unprofessional! Dr. Ratner is great though and has a nice bedside manner.

Absolutely awful! Arrogant, rushed, greedy. All this guy cares about is making money and pimping expensive pain creams. His office staff is rude and lazy. He is ALWAYS very late and obviously doesn't care. I suspect the good reports on him are fakes issued by his staff to at least partially hide how awful he is. Disgraceful! Why can't I give him a 0 instead of the minimum 1?
