Dr. Eric J. Schenkel is a board-certified specialist in adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology. He is also board-certified in Internal Medicine.A native of New Jersey, Dr. Schenkel received his BA in chemistry from Bucknell University and his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Following his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Schenkel completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.Dr. Schenkel is a fellow of the American Academy and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He is also past-president of the Pennsylvania Allergy Society and a member of the National Academic Honorary Society, Phi Beta Kappa.Dr. Schenkel is on the medical staffs of St. Luke’s Hospital (all locations) and Easton Hospital. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia …and Director of Valley Allergy Care and Valley Clinical Research Center in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania. As an allergist for over 30 years, Dr. Schenkel has helped thousands of allergy sufferers of all ages in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. He also has been actively involved in clinical research, helping to develop all of the currently available medicines used to treat allergy patients. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific articles in the allergy and asthma field. Also, he has appeared in the national media on CNN and in the Wall Street Journal.In his free time, he enjoys bird watching, tennis, and classical music.

He Didn’t want to hear pharma drugs cause so many problems with your health because he hands them out and some are very dangerous. Just look him up on DOLLARS FOR DOCS and look how much he RECIEVED in kickbacks. This is so ridiculous to make all this $$$$$ handing out Synthetic chemicals your body doesn’t WANT OR NEED. Stay far away from doctors that hand out pharma drugs.

This review is to attest to the expert knowledge and compassionate nature of Dr. Eric J. Schenkel. I have been a patient of Dr. Schenkel for over 40 years and can vouch for his professional knowledge & care towards his patients. Throughout my life I have suffered with allergies and asthma. My daily routines consisted of vaporizer treatments, hot and cold compresses, and limited outdoor activity. Once I became a patient of Dr. Schenkel’s, underwent the correct testing procedures and diagnoses, I am living a totally different life. I am now quite active in bowling, camping, and all water sports activities. I never thought this type of lifestyle could ever exist for me. (I do not rely on vaporizers or compress treatments and very rarely use my emergency inhalers.) Please note Dr. Schenkel also treats my parents and brother as well. My brother was having difficulty breathing, and Dr. Schenkel diagnosed him with a heart condition that did save his life. I can highly recommend… Dr. Schenkel to all of your loved ones, for he will make the quality of their lives much better. If I didn’t believe this, I would never drive over an hour for a doctor’s visit. However, Dr. Schenkel is worth it for his thorough medical and clinical trial knowledge, as well as caring attitude.

Dr. Schenkel is the best allergists in the area! His excellent knowledge and treatment has given me back my life. I was having chronic sinus and throat infections recurring every 2-4 months along with asthmatic bronchitis. Since I began my treatments I have not been ill in over a year! My physical health has been stable! I feel like he has given my life back and I am very grateful for this. It takes a lot of self discipline because you must keep up with your shots to get the full effect of treatment. My allergies have been controlled to the point I can now snuggle with my dogs. The atmosphere of his office staff AND the Dr. is always very friendly and accommodating. I have NEVER seen any rudeness as reported by some other disgruntle patients. My experience continues to be a very positive one!!!

I'd give Dr. Schenkel 6 stars if I could! I've been going to him for almost 16 years, and I don't have a single negative thing to say about him or his practice. He's really just the best. 6 stars, 6 stars!
