I've been going to Dr. Schroeder for many years and I've seen quite a change. He use to be very into what he was doing, knowledgeable, paying attention to his patients. Now, he's decided to pursue other interests (teaching, politics, etc) and his office hours are very cut down. He is often preoccupied (making phone calls and doing other odd jobs while I am in the chair waiting to be numb) and his mind is clearly not on his immediate job. I've been waiting upwards of 45 mins for apts lately and he is always behind. Over the years, I have gone to school and graduated as a medical professional and his office hygiene is...questionable. I'm not saying that he needs the newest and most expensive technology, but his office is certainly outdated. I have been attempting to fix a tooth for over a year and a half....getting a crown on for over two months, and it still isn't fixed. He is a nice man, but he just isn't as invested as he use to be.
