Dr. Eric William Scott, MD

I would never recommend this dr office to anyone. The office staff is very very rude, have no compassion and treated me like I did not matter to them. I had spinal surgery and my surgeon wanted me to follow up with Dr Scott. I called to make an appointment and was told they would would not see me , when I asked to explain my discharge instructions to call them, she said she did not care and hung up on me. I called back to talk to an office manager and before I child even talk got hung up on again. I waited a few minutes and called back and said I wild like to talk to an office manger. She said wait in line, her husband dr scott was there and hung up on me again. So if you want to be treated with lack of respect and not allowed to talk to for it. But I recommend that if you don't want to be treated like they did with me so not go there. I don't care if he is or is not good at what he does, no one deserves to be talked to like I was. I treat people with respect and how I would… want to be treated. ( jennifer and Michelle do not know what respect is)

Dr. Scott is currently treating me for a case of severe spinal stenosis. He has, in the last 10 years, treated my wife for similar spinal problems and performed several spinal surgeries on her. These surgeries made significant improvements in my wife's life. Dr. Scott has recommended a non-surgical treatment which we are currently evaluating. Since I am 72 years old, I'm hoping to avoid surgery by "running out the clock". If I can't do that, I intend to have Dr. Scott perform surgery on my spine. I like Dr. Scott's "bed-side manner". He treats me like a participant in my treatment. He offers detailed answers to my questions, is clear and concise without being abrupt or acting rushed. We discuss medical issues and treatments at a level I can understand, and he offers alternatives if they are available. I like and trust Dr. Scott and if you get to know him, you will too.

Dr. Scott was who I researched as one of the best neurosurgeons in my area. Went to him for a chiari malformation consultation and he was very thorough. Did MRI of neck due to those symptoms also and ended up doing ACDF of c5-c6. I had immediate relief of that specific pain after surgery and now going through testing for other symptoms that started before decompression surgery. He did such amazing work with my neck and the scar is also barely noticeable that I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my brain surgery. I like him as he is straight up and tells you how it is. There is no sugarcoating if that’s what you are looking for. I value and trust his opinions.

His surgery resolved my weakness and pain.

I was referred to Dr. Scott by my primary care doctor. I had been referred elsewhere by a friend and it was going to be a three month wait. Dr Scotts office manager called me at 745 at night the day of my referral. Jennifer got me in the next day. She could not have been nicer and more helpful. She is very straightforward. The other reviewers must had been jackasses, as she is a very firm, gracious, intellectual who does not suffer fools. I heard her be firm on the phone when I was there with someone and boy she made her point clearly without raising a voice. The DOGS are beautiful and amazing. I LOVED seeing a doctor hold his baby squirrel. He isa smart smart man. I know I was very afraid of surgery. I have a neck problem. my hands are numb. I had the surgery right away and I am so happy my hands are not numb, and I am back to my normal life with my 8 grandchildren. my life is SAVED by Dr. Scott. Those bad reviewer must have been jerks because I experienced nothing but friendly nice… staff who stayed late one afternoon so I could have my appointment . GO DR SCOTT. You are the best doctor ever and my live is saved and back to normal!!

Dr. Scott is effective, efficient and caring. His office staff is no less than stellar! They run a tight ship while maintaining compassion for their patients and family. We are so glad we were referred to him! David and Tabitha Harvey

He refused to address the chief complaint about a Neuro issue though honed in on a vascular. Referring me to his “friend” for imaging with contrast. I asked him directly if this would invasive as I already had a CT and MRI. He said no but there will be contrast. OK. Then I get called to schedule the procedure without any education or discussion. Turns out I have to watch a prep video and one about anesthesia. Not what I expected from non-evasive imaging. I call and it turns out they were doing an angiogram. While routine, still invasive. Not what I agreed to. In addition to the disorganized office, I’m blatantly lied to by the Dr, my chief complaint is ignored, and now I find out the payment in full collected will not be billed to insurance as advised. They refused to charge my co-pay and are keeping the full price. After speaking to the office manager, I found out they accidentally credited a payment from someone else’s visit to my account. I called Dr Scott’s office manager… to share the story. I was told it wasn’t their office and blamed Dr Scott’s friend he referred me too. At one point she blamed it on a former staff, “it was the idiot, she doesn’t work for me anymore”. She felt the need to explain how insurance works to me. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said, “I am the boss”. She hung up on me and refuses to take my call.

Dr. Scott is a meticulous, careful and thorough surgeon. He only operates when really necessary and is, thankfully, a perfectionist. I interviewed 5 different doctors and found him to be the best even recommended by his colleagues.

I saw that nasty review. That patient should be ignored for such a nasty comment. The entire staff went beyond the call of duty for me. Jennifer called me at night, got me in the next day. My nurse was lovely and she got my studies. I saw Dr Scott who went over my mri with me and my husband and we talked. That patient must be a jerk everyone was nice there and j held Abby and Bissis and they made my visit perfect !! I had surgery , I was cured and I would marry Dr Scott if Jennifer wasn’t so good at her job! You must have been rude to her staff. They treat their staff like family! They are the best !!
