Dr. Eric Smith, MD

I scheduled a new patient appointment for a Friday at 10am. I was told to arrive a few minutes early to fill out paperwork, so I got there around 9:50. I was done filling out the paperwork prior to 10 and proceeded to wait another hour. When I got up to ask the receptionist what was going on, she told me my appointment was actually for 10:45 and they asked me to arrive at 10am to allow time to fill out the paperwork. Now, unless you're a complete imbecile, you don't need 45 minutes to fill out paperwork. At 11am, I got up and left. Dr. Smith may well be a decent doctor, but his employees are complete morons.

I could not be happier with the way Dr. Smith and his staff have treated me. The staff is always friendly and I have never had a long wait. Also Dr. Smith always makes me feel like I am his only patient and takes all of the time that I need to answer any and all questions that I may have. He is also not as quick as many doctors to prescribe medicine, suggesting trying other methods like diet and exercise first.

I received my new patient bill from the office. I called to question the bill, and the billing lady was incompetent and could not answer my questions. After I paid my bill, I received a letter from the office stating I was kicked out of the practice due to me questioning my bill. Not to mention the tone of the letter speaking to me like I am incompetent. All over questioning the bill?
